Prime Minister Ersin Tatar will come together with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Istanbul.
The meeting which will be held in İstanbul will start at 3pm.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tatar who went to Ankara yesterday came together with the Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
During his meeting with Oktay the Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement between Turkey and the TRNC was evaluated.
It’s been announced that work will be launched to build a 100 bed capacity pandemic hospital in the TRNC within this year.
The Turkish Vice-Presidency announced the decisions agreed during the meeting with a written statement.
The contributions and support provided by Turkey to the Turkish Cypriot People during the fight against the pandemic will continue in the coming period within the framework of steps towards normalization.
Within this framework, a 100 bed capacity pandemic hospital with the latest technology equipment will be built in the TRNC within 2020.The maintenance and repair work at the Anamur-Geçitköy underwater pipeline within the framework of TRNC Water Supply Project will be completed in September.
The TRNC economy will continue to be supported, the economic relation will be accelerated and the 2020 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement between Turkey and the TRNC will be implemented effectively.
The joint determination and cooperation will continue for the protection of Turkish Cypriots legitimate rights and interests in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Agreement was also reached to accelerate work for the opening of the closed city of Maraş as soon as possible.
